At 646 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 4 miles northwest of Indian Land to 7 miles east of Rock Hill. Movement was west at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Rock Hill, Fort Mill, Tega Cay, Lesslie, Catawba, Carowinds, Lake Wylie, Newport, Pineville, and Southwest Charlotte.
