* WHAT...
Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
A portion of piedmont North Carolina, including the following county, Mecklenburg.

* WHEN...
Until 630 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Nuisance flooding of low-lying areas adjacent to streams and other poor-drainage areas, including farmland, parks, greenways, boat-access areas, golf courses, underpasses, and parking lots. Isolated, shallow flows over roadways is possible.
A few flood-prone, low-water crossings may become impassible. A small culvert washout or two is possible.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 329 PM EDT, Due to recent heavy rainfall from thunderstorms, McMullen Creek near Addison Dr has exceeded Action/Advisory Stage of 7.0 feet and adjacent lowland flooding as well as flooding of Addison Dr is ongoing.
McMullen Creek is cresting near the Minor Flood Stage of 7.5 feet and will quickly recede below Action/Advisory Stage within the next 60 minutes. Drivers and pedestrians are urged to avoid Addison Dr over the next 60 minutes to allow McMullen Creek to crest and floodwaters to recede.
