At 1106 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Alton to near Virgilina. Movement was south at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Roxboro, Concord, Bethel Hill, Bushy Fork, Hyco Lake, Moriah, Mayo Reservoir, Hyco Marina, and Surl.
