At 608 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Charlotte Motor Speedway to near Wingate to near Chesterfield. Movement was northeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rainfall.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Albemarle, Rockingham, Wadesboro, Badin Lake, Ansonville, Plyler, Midland, Polkton, Locust, and Norwood.
