At 518 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles east of Forked Run State Park, moving east at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Parkersburg, Elizabeth, Mineralwells, Davisville, Greencastle, Morristown, Rockport, and Palestine.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 157 and 172.
Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 13 and 14.
