A portion of northwest North Carolina, including the following counties, Alleghany NC, Ashe, Wilkes and Yadkin.

Until 815 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 511 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Basin Creek, Bussels Creek, Darnell Creek, Big Bugaboo Creek, Cane Creek, Clear Branch, Beaver Creek, Dobbins Creek, Camp Branch, Cub Creek, Church Branch, Bee Tree Branch and Cove Creek.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
