At 334 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 miles north of Badin Lake, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
High Point, Asheboro, Randleman, North Carolina Zoo, Thomasville, Seagrove, Trinity, Liberty, Ramseur, and Denton.
