Flood Advisory issued August 12 at 3:30PM EDT until August 12 at 6:30PM EDT by NWS Raleigh NC

* WHAT...
Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...
A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Granville and Vance.

* WHEN...
Until 630 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 330 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Henderson, Oxford, Creedmoor, Butner, Kittrell, Stem, Dabney, South Henderson, Gillburg, Lake Butner, Falls Lake and John H Kerr Reservoir.
