Flash Flood Warning issued July 21 at 11:31PM EDT until July 22 at 4:45AM EDT by NWS Blacksburg VA
At 1131 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain has exited Greenbrier County, leaving only light scattered showers. However, between 2 and 4 inches of rain fell earlier this evening, resulting in heavy runoff that quickly filled small creeks and drainages. Some of these small creeks have been reported out of their banks this evening, causing flash flooding of nearby roads near the town of Rupert.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
