At 452 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Hillsborough to near Carrboro to 9 miles northeast of Randleman. Movement was east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Greensboro, Durham, Cary, High Point, Chapel Hill, Jordan Lake, Hillsborough, Falls Lake, and Pittsboro.
