Flash Flood Warning issued August 13 at 11:14PM EDT until August 14 at 12:30AM EDT by NWS Charleston WV
At 1114 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain in Rome and Proctorville. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen with locally higher amounts reported in a few locations.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring in Rome and Proctorville.
HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding.
