At 1134 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles east of Carthage to Raeford. Movement was northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and heavy rainfall.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Fayetteville, Sanford, Southern Pines, Raeford, Fort Liberty, Pope AFB, Spring Lake, Whispering Pines, Broadway, and Vass.
